Zach Simmons
President & Partner
Zach Simmons brings a lifetime of construction expertise to Stronghold Construction, rooted in his early years working in his family’s industrial electrical contracting business. Transitioning into general contracting at a young age, he built a career spanning nationwide retail developments and large-scale educational facilities — including projects for the University of Oklahoma and multiple Independent School Districts in Dallas.

As President and Partner, Zach leads with a clear vision: deliver innovative, community-focused building solutions that set new standards for quality and efficiency. His deep industry knowledge, combined with a forward-thinking approach, continues to drive Stronghold’s growth and impact across the region.

CEO & Partner
A proud United States Air Force Veteran, Roy brings a diverse background and wealth of experience to the team. A University of Central Oklahoma graduate, Roy's career encompasses roles such as Corporate Finance & Commercial Real Estate Projects Management for Fowler Automotive, and Manager for the City of Oklahoma City’s Federal Programs Office. His licensing and expertise in environmental compliance and government funding regulatory standards further complement his leadership, guiding Stronghold Construction to superior performance in both private and government projects.

Danny Wanner
CFO & Partner
Danny Wanner combines entrepreneurial success, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of the Oklahoma market to guide Stronghold Construction’s fiscal strategy. An Oklahoma State University graduate, Danny’s career spans more than 20 years in lending and banking, alongside managing a thriving multi-location franchise in the OKC metro.

As CFO and Partner, Danny draws on his experience as a licensed real estate agent and seasoned business owner to ensure Stronghold’s financial health. His strategic foresight and disciplined approach to growth help position the company for long-term success and stability in a competitive construction landscape.

Kenneth Becknel
Senior Superintendent
With a career built from the ground up, Kenneth Becknel has devoted his life to the construction industry — beginning with structural concrete and civil infrastructure before moving into large-scale commercial projects. Over the years, he has successfully led construction efforts totaling more than $100 million across Oklahoma.

As Stronghold Construction’s Senior Superintendent, Kenneth’s deep technical expertise and proven leadership ensure even the most complex projects are delivered with precision, safety, and exceptional quality. His commitment to excellence strengthens Stronghold’s reputation as a trusted builder for high-impact developments.

Kathryn Menefee
Senior Project Manager
Kathryn Menefee brings extensive expertise in federal and commercial construction management to Stronghold Construction. A proud alumna of the University of Central Oklahoma and Southern New Hampshire University, where she earned her master’s degree, Kathryn began her career with a small business subcontractor before advancing to oversee diverse Department of Defense projects nationwide.
As Senior Project Manager, Kathryn’s depth of experience, particularly in high-stakes federal work, ensures precision, compliance, and excellence at every stage of the build. Her leadership strengthens Stronghold’s ability to deliver complex projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
