This full-scale renovation honors the building’s historical essence while adapting it to meet modern needs. By blending restoration techniques with contemporary upgrades, Stronghold has transformed the space into a functional and welcoming hub for the Nation's administrative and enrollment services.
The revitalized Enrollment Center celebrates its heritage while looking toward the future, providing an efficient, community-focused environment designed to serve the Nation for years to come.

From notice to proceed (NTP) to completion, the project was delivered in an impressive 63 days—a testament to the efficiency and collaboration of the entire team. In partnership with Haskell Lemon, the team delivered a durable, long-lasting roadway that enhances accessibility and infrastructure for the community.
This exceptional project earned the prestigious 2023 BIA Asphalt Project of the Year Award, recognizing the outstanding work of WDS Contracting and Haskell Lemon. Stronghold is proud to have supported this effort, showcasing the power of teamwork and dedication to advancing critical infrastructure for the Seminole Nation.

A key feature of the facility is a drive-through garage designed for COVID-19 and flu testing, as well as vaccinations—delivering safe, convenient, and weather-proof services to the community. Beyond its focus on public health, the facility also includes dedicated office space for clinic staff and environmental health teams, fostering improved collaboration and operational efficiency.
Stronghold is honored to play a role in advancing the Nation's health infrastructure. The Pawnee Nation IHS Wellness Facility is more than a building; it’s a vital resource for community health and a symbol of progress for the Nation’s future.

This ground-up expansion provides critical space to support the existing clinic, which has served the Seminole Nation for decades. The new facility integrates seamlessly with the original building, offering expanded capacity for medical services, administrative offices, and patient care. Its state-of-the-art design ensures the clinic can accommodate current demands while preparing for future growth.
Stronghold is proud to contribute to this cornerstone project, reinforcing the Seminole Nation’s commitment to quality healthcare and community wellness. The IHS Wewoka Clinic Expansion represents a new chapter in a long history of dedicated care, setting the stage for generations of improved health outcomes.

In collaboration with WDS and Haskell Lemon, the project introduced a new primary road through the mission, expanded the parking lot for the Veterans Center, and developed a network of walking trails throughout the campus. These improvements honor the mission's legacy while providing modern amenities to serve the community.
Looking ahead, the second phase of the project will focus on adding and refreshing a large portion of the parking lots across the mission, further supporting its role as a hub for events, gatherings, and day-to-day activities.

Located along a high-visibility, high-traffic corridor, the facility is designed to deliver a modern, elevated experience for travelers and locals alike. It will feature advanced amenities including a complete kitchen offering freshly prepared meals, a spacious indoor dining area, an upscale coffee bar experience, a fresh food and market selection, and a widened cooler section to meet every kind of on-the-go need. Every detail of the plaza is built to combine convenience with quality — from clean, high-efficiency fuel options to digital integration throughout the property.
Projected to break ground in Fall of 2025, the Britton Road Travel Plaza isn’t just a stop — it’s a statement. It signals the beginning of a new era for the Kickapoo Tribe, where innovation, community impact, and economic opportunity come together under one roof.

The building is engineered to harness the natural greenhouse effect, using solar exposure and thermal mass from the pool water itself to maintain a comfortable environment through colder months — without the need for traditional HVAC systems. During warmer seasons, the structure allows for strategic ventilation and passive airflow across the water’s surface, naturally cooling the space and providing optimal conditions for both recreational use and health-focused programming.
At the heart of the annex is a saltwater aquatic system designed for low chemical use and maximum comfort. The facility will include a dedicated resistance area for physical therapy, wellness classes, and rehabilitation programs, offering citizens of all ages — especially elders — access to movement, healing, and recovery in a supportive setting. Fully accessible design, including an integrated wheelchair ramp, ensures the annex meets the needs of the entire Seminole community.
This isn’t just a pool annex — it’s a wellness-driven, future-ready facility that blends smart design, sustainability, and year-round service to support the long-term health and strength of the Nation.

The Nation is deploying a 5-megawatt solar array to directly supplement power for tribal constituents — dramatically reducing energy costs, stabilizing long-term utility access, and asserting greater control over the Nation’s energy future. This system is designed to scale with demand, allowing for future expansion as the community grows and energy needs evolve.
Complementing the large-scale deployment is a 150–300 kilowatt solar garden that serves as the testing ground for a state-of-the-art geothermal pilot project. In partnership with multiple universities, this pilot aims to repurpose decommissioned oil and gas wells into clean, reliable geothermal energy sources. If successful, the project could pioneer a replicable model for rural and tribal communities across the country — transforming yesterday’s extraction sites into tomorrow’s energy assets.
This program isn’t just about reducing a utility bill. It’s about transforming legacy infrastructure into generational opportunity, building energy resilience, and ensuring the Pawnee Nation leads with innovation, responsibility, and strength. The future of Native energy isn’t coming — it’s being built here.
